Crate training your puppy is a personal decision, but we highly recommend it for several reasons. It keeps your puppy safe when you're away, provides a secure resting place, and offers them a designated space of their own. If you opt for crate training, starting early is beneficial. We've already initiated crate desensitization training with your puppy; they've had exposure to a crate in their whelping area, allowing them to freely explore and acclimate to it.
When selecting a crate, ensure it's spacious enough for your puppy to turn around comfortably but not excessively large, as overly large spaces might overwhelm them. As your puppy grows, you will need to upgrade to a larger crate to accommodate their size.
